9/20/2024 4:56 pm

In partnership with the First Partner’s Office and the Natural Resources Agency, State Parks is offering the California State Park Adventure Pass, which provides free entry for fourth graders and their families at 54 state parks throughout the state. A fourth grader from California attending a public school, and their family (up to three adults and other kids) and friends (everyone in your car) can enjoy all sorts of adventures at state parks during your whole fourth grade year—and the following summer, too. This pass is valid for the one-year period during which the child is a fourth grader or fourth grade equivalent attending a public school from September 1 to August 31 of that year. To obtain the pass, parent(s) or guardian(s) can go to ReserveCalifornia.com or call (800) 444-7275. You will then be prompted to set up a profile by providing your name, address, phone number and email address, and you will be sent a free California State Park Adventure Pass through email. Individuals who do not have access to a smartphone, computer or printer and/or do not have an email address, can still get a pass by visiting a State Parks Pass Sales Office.
