Vote YES on Measure GG

9/23/2024 4:29 pm

Vote YES on Measure GG to raise money for teacher salaries

Funding for our local schools has not increased in more than 12 years, despite inflation. Our schools receive among the lowest amount of state funding per-student in San Mateo County. This November, Measure GG will help us keep up with the rising cost of providing a quality education and preventing teacher layoffs.

If we don’t pass Measure GG, we will lose some of our best teachers to other nearby school districts that offer higher compensation. What’s more: Measure GG means large corporations will pay more than single-family homeowners, ensuring large property owners contribute their fair share to support our local schools.

Learn More:  Join a standing Tuesday night meeting at 8PM for updates on all things GG

Volunteer: There will be a canvassing training Sept 26 on Zoom sponsored by Team CivX.

Donate: Help support Measure GG campaign costs by making a contribution here

In partnership with the First Partner’s Office and the Natural Resources Agency, State Parks is offering the California State Park Adventure Pass, which provides free entry for fourth graders and their families at 54 state parks throughout the state.
